🍭 Why Blood Sugar Can Get Out of Balance
In today’s video, “Blood Sugar Regulation: How It Dysfunctions”, we’re looking at how everyday habits can throw our blood sugar out of balance.
These days, it’s so easy to eat too many processed carbs and sugars — like cereal, bread, pasta, soda, and snacks. And on top of that, we deal with a lot of stress, poor sleep, and busy days. All of this causes our blood sugar to go up and down quickly.
When your blood sugar goes up fast, your body sends out insulin to bring it down. But sometimes it sends too much, and your blood sugar drops too low. Then your body has to work hard again to bring it back up — using stress hormones like cortisol and adrenaline. This back-and-forth can keep happening all day, which leaves you feeling tired, moody, hungry, and craving more sugar.
Over time, this pattern can make it harder for your body to manage blood sugar, and it can lead to bigger health problems.
This video breaks it all down in a simple way and shows why so many people struggle with blood sugar today — and what your body goes through to try and keep up.
